Swinburne, Chapter 1
Starting at page 7
We exist in linear time, God does not; this view is shared by the author. We exercise free choice as we transverse through linear time; at any given time we make decisions based on the choices presented to us. God, who exists outside of our limits of time, can perceive our future, which contains the free choices we will make, as easily as he sees our past, which contains the choices we have already made.
Ps. 139:4 – Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord.
Ps. 139:16b – All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
